Yes, it’s true. After about five years of living in DC, we are moving back to the Midwest! We hear from reliable sources that it’s a good place to grow up and raise kids. 🙂 We have a house under contract and the closing date is set for the end of March. Our goal is to move to Minneapolis in May (fingers crossed).
We are both excited and nervous to start this new phase of our lives. Mike will continue to do his same job remotely. It’s not clear what I will do yet: I’ve told my boss of the move, and he’s going to try to get me approved to work remotely. But, since it’s government, there’s a lot of bureaucracy involved, so we’ll have to see. I’m also looking for agriculture-related jobs in Minneapolis as well.
