Nursery, better late than never

T minus four weeks: no time like the present to start working on having somewhere for Graglo to sleep. This weekend my folks visited from New Jersey, bringing fruit and cake and able hands to help set things up for the new baby.

Mom spent much of a humid Sunday afternoon putting polyurethane on the curtain rods – Jack had previously poly’ed the rings and brackets. I put the brackets up and washed the miniblinds and windows… and Dad helped take down the desk. Finally, we made some semblance of progress, and last night I got the curtains themselves hung up.

Now, to get the rest of the junk out… and take delivery of a crib. We hope.
