Boo and Happy Halloween from us and our little monkey!
Okay, there was your extra Halloween excitement. I hope you all can contain yourselves 🙂 A special shout out and thank you to Lara and Alex who sent us the monkey costume now that their little monkeys have out-grown it. We were happy and honored to continue the primate tradition.
In other news, Jackson had his 2 month doctors appointment on Thursday. We are pleased to report that he is all systems go, and our doc was happy with his progress. She was also impressed with alertness, and his mellow attitude as there was no screaming when she put the cold stethoscope on his chest (although, I was also nursing him when she did it, and our little guy doesn’t notice much of the world around him when he’s getting his milk on, being of the ‘I love to eat’ sort) and he only cried for a very short moment when they gave him his 4 immunizations, and then he got over it. Also, he did not pee or spit-up or poop on anyone this visit- apparently he viewed his 2 month doctors appointment as a ‘contained’ type of visit.
His new stats are as follows:
Height: 23 1/4 inches = 60th percentile
weight 11 lbs 10 oz = 50th percentile
head 40 1/2 cm = 60th percentile
So he jumped from the 25th to the 50th percentile in weight in just 4 short weeks. Like I said, our boy likes to chow, so we don’t have to worry about him wasting away. He’s working his way towards having a good strong relationship with mass- especially in his cheeks. And if you want more proof, go to the new folder with photos: Jackson weeks seven through nine
