Our boy is a berry monster. He likes blueberries, raspberries, blackberries- you name the berry, we’re betting he’ll scarf it like there’s no tomorrow. We’re trying to vary the foods he eats to ensure that he has a good diet and reduce the chance that he becomes a picky eater. This has not been a problem to date: the only food he’s ever rejected was some yogurt that had gone bad. We couldn’t figure out why he wouldn’t eat it until Mike tasted it and realized that it was rancid. Neither of us could really argue with his reasoning.
Last night on the way home we picked up blackberries for an after dinner treat. The boy enjoyed both eating the berries and expressing his inner creativity with the juices. Alternatively, we think he may have a future career in slasher films.
